PhD scholarships in the Autumn of 2008
A number of PhD scholarships are available at the DTU Informatics in the Autumn of 2008.
The subject of the PhD thesis must be within one of the main research areas of the institute:
* Scientific computing
* Mathematical statistics
* Image Processing and Computer Graphics
* Intelligent Signal Processing
* System-on-chip
* Systems Security
* Language Based Technology
* Software Engineering
* Algorithms and Logic
* Embedded Systems
* Communication and Information Technology
Candidates should have a master's degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master's degree in engineering.
The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in the DTU PhD programme for Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.

The applications must be submitted in collaboration with a potential supervisor. The student is responsible for contacting a potential supervisor and asking for an endorsement.
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students. The positions are available for 3 years.
