Who can apply?
There are a variety of scholarships available if you:
are going into your final year of a Bachelor of Education
have a degree and are considering a Graduate Diploma in Education.

A teaching scholarship worth up to $60,000.
A guaranteed job when you graduate.
Additional financial benefits during your first and second year of
teaching.
Permanency after only two years of teaching in a rural public school.
Priority teaching areas
We are particularly looking for people to teach in the following areas:
Early Childhood
Primary
Secondary
Agriculture
Design and Technology
English
Home Economics
Mathematics
Science (Physics and Chemistry).
Scholarships for the following secondary teaching areas will also be
considered:
Health and Physical Education, Languages (Indonesian, Italian,
Japanese), Music, Science - Biological, Society and Environment,
Technology and Enterprise (Business, Computing), Special Needs and
School Psychology.

Applications close Tuesday 30 September 2008.
